Yeah, it's a problem. But it was/is often a feature of Doctor Who
as well. There's no show if everyone is sensible all the time and does
the right thing.

Why?
The wedding happened. They HAVE photos, cards and gifts. The only
thing to recreate would be photos which include Gwen.

Yeah. Increase the dramatic tension though... So if it doesn't
work then Gwen's died at Rhys' hand.

He doesn't like Gwen sleeping with Owen, and he doesn't like Gwen
having feelings for Jack.
I don't like that we came so close to exploring that, and then
ignored it.

I think that's exactly the point though. On Doctor Who there are
constant cir***stance changes and guest cast changes to provide the drama.
Torchwood can't drop into a space****p that will be destroyed in 42
minutes to have that provide the drama. It has to come from the cast.
They have a stable cast, a stable location, it all has to come from
them. They gotta provide the wacky.
