JAG was cancelled by NBC after 1 season and picked up by CBS and ran
9 (yep, nine) more seasons!

Cagney & Lacey was cancelled by CBS and returned for several years.

It's not over till it's over.  Granted, I think it's proably over,
since there isn't anyone like Bellisario backing Jericho.
