I'm not sure. Maybe a glance at the Sci-Fi website's schedule could
give one an insight. Here in Canada, it airs on Super Channel
(www.superchannel.ca). Given how the show went from 5 days a week with
a full cast/crew/sets on NBC to slashed crew/sets on NBC to being
cancelled by NBC and brought back on DirecTV with slashed cast/crew/
sets 4 days a week to lowlier 3 days a week on DTV, the show just kept
shrinking and shrinking until it could shrink no more.
The future doesn't bode well for 'Days Of Our Lives' being renewed
after their barely-under-the-wire 2008-2009 renewal. JERk (aka James
E. Reilly) sure knows how to **** up daytime TV. Cancelled 'Sunset
Beach', a disgraceful blaze of incompetence firing from DOOL and now
this. The guy's a pathetic hack. Based on 8 years of 'Passions'
watching, I'd say (and other regular viewers would say) he absolutely
*hates* women and is a racist and *uses* his pen to get his feelings
out. How many Mexican jokes did he make over the years?????? Probably
ten times as many 'Family Guy'. And how many women got raped just on
the last year and a half on 'Passions' *alone*? He's a pig! And may he
NEVERRRRRRRRR work again on television!
If they want to kill 'All My Children', give him a job! The show will
of course spin in its wheels for as long as the network allows it
(that's what 'Passions' did), but he'll get the job done! ;-)
