She's beautiful-er in the series than she was in the movies, even. I 
think they're gonna have to find someone completely new - although 
Ashley Scott certainly had the cybernetic look down pat in "AI;" in fact 
she was about the only thing good about that piece of crap. Scott 
definitely has the physique for the part, and she's 30 right now so 
she's about the age Kusanagi plays at. She doesn't have the Major's 
frontal... presence... but I always thought those ginormous cans were 
counter-productive to someone who does the things Kusanagi has to do.

I also wanna see who they pick for Batou, Togusa and Aramaki. Heh, too 
bad we lost Pat Morita.  =  )  /also =  (
