Cylon Model Colonies/Constellations (Was Re: Cylon countdown (BSG "Six of One" spoilers))

ONE MORE THING:

Do the 12 models correspond one each to the 12 Colonies/constellations
and if so, which ones?

With 6 clearly assigned to Caprica/Capricorn, then if we assume that
Leoben is assigned to Leo, the 12 models would NOT correspond
numerically to the astrological signs in order.  Leoben would have to
be assigned to Cancer for a one-to-one correspondence to work.  

This would leave as follows:

1. Cavil -- Leo
2. Leoben -- Virgo/Virgon
3. D'Anna -- Libra
4. Simon -- Scorpio
5. Doral -- Saggitarius/Saggitarion
6. Caprica 6/Lucifer 6/Council 6/etc. -- Caprica/Capricorn
7. UNKNOWN -- Aquarius/Aquarion
8. Athena/Boomer -- Pisces/Picon
9. (Tyrol) -- Aries
10. (Tori) -- Taurus/Tauron
11. (Sam) -- Gemini/Gemmenon
12. (Tigh) -- Cancer

With, of course, models 9-12 up in the air (although Tori =
Taurus/Tauron sounds like an interesting correspondence, it would only
be a coincidence under this scenario due to Leoben not corresponding
to Leo.

B. I don't remember if Boomer was supposed to have been a Picon.  And
for some reason, I'm under the impression that Tyrol was a
Saggitarion.

C. An alternate theory could be that each of the 12 models assigned
one of its copies to each of the 12 colonies as infiltrators, in which
case, the above quite possibly could be moot -- UNLESS each Cylon
model were the lead infiltrator of his/her corresponding colony (ie:
Caprica 6 would be the lead infiltrator of Caprica.)  This would also
leave open the interesting possibility that most of the designated 144
Colonial Infiltrator Cylons were killed in the initial attack and
recycled into new bodies via the Resurrection ****p.  Hence, multiple
copies of Doral infiltrating the Galactica at the beginning, multiple
copies of 6 infiltrating the colonies and only one copy each of the
Four (Tyrol, Tigh, Sam, Tori) apparently remaining in the Colonial
Fleet.  Thus, the current apparent lead Cylon models -- particularly
the Four -- might not be the leaders of their corresponding Colonial
Infiltration Teams.  (Note: For the above to work I'm also
entertaining the likelihood that all of the Final Five consist of
millions of clones, same as the other Seven, but choose to remain
hidden from them for whatever reason having to do with The Plan.)

LORELAI: I am so done with plans. I am never, ever making one again.
