Yeah, here we go again.
Ya'll watch these in advance, don't you? I get them, but something
about the weekly pacing I really enjoy - so I never end up watching in
advance.

Not much to say just yet, I need to think about this one more.
All in all the episode was emotionally satisfying enough for me to
allow me to overlook the weak points.
But let's just start with acknowledging the weak points.
1. It’s too much. Too over the top. There are too many things going on,
and quite frankly too many disasters.
This works for Doctor Who, they are traveling, and can go from
disaster to disaster. It’s too much for tiny little Cardiff Wales.
We need some sort of Sunnydale forgetty spell explanation, or
something.
2. Gray. Okay, we established early in the season that Jack had
supressed the memory of his brother and what happened. And then we just
sort of skipped over that bit, didn't we? How hard would it have been
to have addressed this?
From here on out it's just random thoughts. I'm slow processing
this.
But damn Gray was cute. And SOUNDED like Jack.
Suddenly Jack is a thousand years older? Or was that 2? Really?
Because honestly he doesn’t look a day over 900.
Ooh, thank you thank you for making John not a bad guy. I love John. I
know he’s totally amoral, but he loves Jack, and I love them both.
I love them ending this with Tosh both brilliant and competent. They
didn’t necessarily make her emotionally competent, but what do you
expect. She’s the best looking science nerd on tv.
I like the “confidential” things, by the way, but they air them during
commercial breaks and they often include spoilers.. I hate that.
I could have used a few more minutes of wondering if Tosh pulled
through.
