Yeah.
But Jack going into it willingly, as penance, was good. It really is
something that could keep a person sane.
All in all I've liked how they ended up addressing Jack's inability
to die. It's just a thing, like Tosh does(did) the medical stuff, Jack
does the dying stuff.

I've rethought this and decided that maybe I need to reword this to
not THE bad guy this episode. He is still a bad guy.
His emotional sincerity towards Jack has always softened me towards
him.
Jack's ability to shrug that off was emotionally satisfying yet
somehow painful.

The signal to remote detonate the bomb that Gray put into his arm.
Except then there Gray was, so that didn't really work.
