I don't want to rain on anyone's parade here but I can't see the
attraction
of this show any more.  I loved it when it first started but now I record
episodes and FF thru most of them.  It's become nothing but a giant soap
opera  in space.  That's ok if you like soaps.  I do sometimes if they're
done well but I have to care about the characters.   The only reason I
even
still record them to FF through later is to hopefully see some sort of
closure to the series.

 My major problem with BG is there is not a single character in the whole
series who I give two ****s about.  I hope they all die.  Cally was a
likeable character years ago but like everyone else on the series, the
writers trashed her.  They basically made her a shrewish ***** and a quick
exit out an air-lock seemed like a fitting end for her.   If they could
only
do that to the rest of them.  

I'm wondering if other people who still think BG is great TV like the
characters?   Or am I in a minority in needing to like and be able to root
for them to enjoy a show like this?
