I hate soaps. I don't see anything soapy about BSG except for maybe a 
couple episodes last year when they played with the Lee/Kara thing. 
Other than that, it's a very strong show that focuses on the characters, 
not the "cylon attack of the week" that the original did much too often. 
All the characters are appealing in one form or another. I can honestly 
say there isn't a character I don't like.

If you hate the show that much, why even waste the electricity to record 
it? Obviously, something still appeals to you.
