Dude, it's mostly guys driving the car.  As Starbuck has found out,
you could give them directions and they'll still not listen to you.

Conversely, the real problem is that they still aren't in any sector
of space from which they can derive the directiosn to the astrological
constellations, much less to earth.  It's like, I know Mexico City is
in Mexico, but I've never been to Tijuana, much less to Mexico City. I
live in Central Missouri and there's no way I could tell you how to
get there from here.  Even if I had a map of Mexico City itself.  A
map of MC is useless if you don't have the map for how to get there.

But then again, it's KalElFan who's trying to make the argument that
Starbuck saw Alpha Centauri.  

The show has told us that Starbuck has been to Earth.  TOLD us, not
shown us.  She has maps of and around the vicinity of Earth and
remembers taking them.  But she doesn't know how she got there or how
she got back or anything else, so the information that she was given
is absolutely useless without more information.  We can't derive what
trinary star she saw anymore than Galactica's sensors could.

So with the caveat of the remote possibility that BSG's Earth could be
set tens of thousands of years in a future in which the Alpha Centauri
system has radically changed into three pulsating stars, it's clearly
not Alpha Centauri.  It's some other star system, the Kleeptazoid
Zex'n System for all we know with the information that REM has given
us (and the characters) so far.
