hmmm.. well it is getting very dark. I don't see any of them as assholes
though..just human.

And I think the underlying question is does humanity deserve to survive?

It's the opposite of Star Trek which also asked the question but generally
came up with happy ****ny answers ( don't get me wrong, I have been a
trekkie most of my very long life)-  I find I like the characters on this
show because they are flawed, because they are human and because they are
complicated. If some light creatures in a pretty ****p pull a deux ex
machina and rescue everyone and show them their inner beauty I will throw
up all over the TV room.
