Back to the pain/pleasure/sex trope again but this
time the women are beating up the men.  Still don't
like it.

Bill demoting Tyrol was inconsistent since he didn't
do it when Tyrol led the strike in "Dirty Hands".
I guess Bill only does something when someone goads
him into it and he gets into a snit because then
it's personal.

This whole episode was a salute to solipsism from
Roslin's "to do what is right is a luxury and not
pragmatic" to Gaius's "You are perfect just as you
are."  It's like moral relativism gone wild.
(Hey, Gaius, know what 'perfection' is?  Stagnation
and decay because no one feels the need to keep
learning, keep working, and keep reaching for
a higher level.)

Hate to say it but, as flawed as it was with the dopey
Council of Twelve, the original series did the contrast
much better between unquestioned authority needed to
sustain the community and a more flexible organization
to represent the individuals' needs within the community.

Next week:  Mutiny on the _Demetrius_.  Can we strand
Kara Thrace on a deserted planet?
