 But what he was doing in Dirty Hands made sense. In this episode he was
clearly getting crazier and crazier. And he practically begged to be
demoted and then sat there with that incredible " what have I done" look
on his face. I am liking Aaron Douglass more and more each season.

 Yup. And I don't think this is being presented as a *good* thing by the
writers.

 Of course. But where do you get the idea that he's supposed to be right?
He is saying what many religions say..  Actually toward the end there he
was sounding more like Werner Erhard than Jesus Christ.
