Tyrol needed the demotion at the time. If you were the Admiral, you
would easily see that this guy's state of mind is just not up to par
at this point.
He acted angry to get through Tyrol's emotional wall, but both knew he
had to be moved (each for thier own reason).

He'll be back, I would bet... don't we "forgive everybody"?
