FWIW, I don't see him as evil so much as grossly negligent (and willfully 
certain).  Of course, there's a point where gross negligence (and willful 
certainty) becomes evil but I don't know that he's crossed that line.

Ben, OTOH, has displayed far more competence than Mr. Cheney so he may
still 
be a "good guy" in that he actually understands The Big Picture (unlike
Mr. 
Cheney).  But then, it's easier to be competent when you're fictional.
