That would be nice, the the poll diverts a lot of discussion.  I would
like to see discussion, just not mixed in with single votes in the poll,
which cloud the thread.    Do people really find a lot of value in posts
by people whom you don't know saying "I rate it a 3.5?"   I find that
of zero value.  I don't know if the person rates everything else a 5
or everything else a 1 or in between.   I really only care how many
people rate it a 3.5, not what any single person does.    For those
who want to tell us why they rated it a 3.5, that's a bit more relevant
though I myself don't care to see it.   What I care to see is actual
discussion of the show and elements in it, and would prefer to see that
in a set of distinct threads, one for each issue being discussed, not
a big massive thread filled with other stuff.
