I was suspicious of the same thing, and tuned out after a couple of
episodes. I don't care how many details the fans watch and analyze and
write about, none of it's going to fit together in any satisfying way.
The
best thing with these shows with these long story arcs (which are the best
in TV, and have the greatest potential) is to have a set number of
episodes, and have it resolved as a stopping point. This story going on
for literally YEARS now is just ridiculous.
