I'm going to give it a try tonight. By the way, wikipedia says 
"Scripts for the second season of Charlie Jade have been written, 
however, the show has not yet been greenlit for a second season." 
(Or, it will say that until the grammar fix I just made propagates).

So your cliffhanger has, in theory, been resolved, and you might be 
able to find it somewhere.

Will sci-fi butcher it for size? If so, I will check some rivers of 
data for it.
