I was thinking though of Moiraine's letter to Rand after the docks:

them...' and something to do about them also being similar to the
Borderlands that a man will take a blade in order to avoid harm to a

I seem to remember, in the middle of one of his many recitations of
that list, something to do with 'a nameless darkfriend'. Whether its
the right one I'm thinking of I don't know. I'll keep an eye out for
it in my rereading adventure.
