The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that
become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when
the Age that gave it birth comes again. So, ebonics are necessarily a part
of Randland history, yet we be finding no evidence of jive or any related
dialects in the speech patterns of the characters.
Here's hoping Mr. Jordan won't let ebonics fans down in A Memory of Light.
