Once upon a time - for example, Thu, 9 Aug 2007 00:57:09 GMT - there
was this guy, or something, called
supernews@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and they made us all feel
better by saying the following stuff:
>S****ge flooding of rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan will commence in a
few hours.
Hooray!
I knew I bought these S****ge wading trunks for a reason.
*produces a large pair of rubber waders with a really dorky late-80s
pattern on them, blows dust off, and dons*
*pretends scornful laughter is actually applause, as per usual*
>This will render rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan useless.
I could make a remark about rasfwrj being rendered useless here, but I
have a moral objection to shooting fish in a barrel.
>Supernews filters out this s****gery spam. Get a better Usenet
>experience. Sign up for our risk-free trial today!
So supernews is actually responsible for this act of e-vandalism, like
a pyromaniac selling fire insurance. And it will be tracked down and
given a wedgie.
My s****ge waders are also wedgie-proof.
In retrospect, I should have put them on years ago.
