Exactly. Rowling had a story dumbed down to appeal to the masses. A
good series, in that it gets people to READ something other than Soap
Opera Digest(though a lot of websites for Harry Potter were quite
similar), or Highlights for Kids. WoT, like it or leave it, was way
over the heads of the masses, but for those who read it, and take the
good with the bad, there's sooooooo much to get back from it. There's
no lucrative tie-in to Wheel of Time. Really there should be. I'd love
to see a movie if it actually remained true to the story.
