Reading that Post by Teresa Smith (alias?) leads me to believe that she was
attempting an over-the-top parody of Masema in tFoH, specifically his
meeting with Nynaeve. In that scene he advocated complete meditation to
contemplate the Lord Dragon, to the point of dropping all other pursuits.
Nynaeve reacted with total indignation, analogous to the way some veteran
posters responded to her two previous posts. In short, I think it was a
Troll trying to incite debate over the "intent" of the post. Could
someone
be naive enough to disregard or not understand the 1st Amendment, the
concept of a Non-Moderated newsgroup, and the forum etiquette? It's
possible, but I think not in this instance.
