I didn't particularly like the essay, but then again I don't really
care about what ANYONE has to say about any book I read; the book says
anything it needs to to me. The essay's certainly not "im****tant and
revealing". (it might have an argument to being "im****tant" if it
actually transformed the way most people view the books, but that
clearly didn't happen, and sure isn't likely to now)
