Can we please leave RGRN off this thread?  This discussion has long since 
moved off the Nethack-related "idea", and into a debate over Jordan's 
actual works; far more suited for RASFW.

Personally, I quit reading his books after he released the third; he
just couldn't finish a story to save his life, pun intended, and it was
obvious as of _THAT_ book.
