Different ethnicities in Randland

Anyone wanna have a crack at drawing parallels between Randland races
and the world we live in? I'll kick this off:

Aiel - Celts (red hair, grey eyes)
Domani - Spanish/Italian (coppery skin)

That's as far as I got.
