=46rom what I've read in TWOT Rand is anything but rude. He maybe a
little stubborn but he is never rude, to the point he suffers
humiliation at the hands of the maidens, wise ones, aes seda etc, on
numerous occassions. If Rand was an arrogant and rude twat, as you put
it, Cadsuane would have been stilled the moment she slapped him.
Cadsuane does not possess a tenth the power Rand does. Both Egwene and
Elayne are more powerful than Cadsuane and he handled both together
with ease. It defies logic that an old cow like Cadsuane can behave
the way she does in front of Rand. I think it is only Rand's decency
that keeps from him dealing to these bossy women (although in my
opinion I think he's just a *****).
