Did RJ really say that? Well I am not too surprised. I think it would
have been a miracle, even for someone with RJ's talents, to tie of all
the plot lines neatly like you put it. Mind you this does make sense.
Once the series was over he could have written other, hopefully
shorter, books to tie off the loose ends from TWOT. But now that is
dead that seems unlikely.

By Rift War I take it you're talking about Magician, Silverthorn and
Darkness at Sethanon? Feist has done a whole bunch of other "series"
since he finished the first Rift War saga.They're all good in a
typical Feist way i.e. they start out great but the ends are somewhat
half baked. Still as I mentioned before it is about the journey rather
than just getting to the destination.

I think the end will be disappointing. I am expecting an x files or a
matrix finale. Both left me feeling very empty and cheated. :-(
