Exactly.
He can corrupt people by being in their presence, he can cause pain in
others when he wants, etc.
Hmm, if this theory is true, then the current DO will have a talisman of
his own, possibly also a dagger (Fain went nuts(er) looking for that
dagger). Cue destruction of DO's source of power...
