Nothing great comes to mind. What does is Kimball Kinnison's persona as
a pulp SF writer in the Lensmen books; Tatja Grimm's world, with
floating SF publishers. A couple of things which have writing, but not
professional. Anything in Learning the World? I remember "engineering
fiction" having some role.
