True.  The notion I was getting at was that J.Random Person, if asked
about how an object would behave in some hypothetical situation (ie,
what happens if you drop a rock and you're on a galloping horse, where
does the rock hit the ground and why, etc) tends to come up with answers
that are similar to those you getif you apply Aristotalean rules.  So,
Aristotle came up with the general laws of nature, and whatever process
most people use to answer such questions seems compatible with them.
