Last week's Toll covered the tragic story of Marine Lance Cpl. Walter
Rollo Smith of Utah. If you happened to read it you might recall that
Walter, described as a once squeaky clean Mormon boy, returned from
Iraq saddled with a severe post traumatic stress disorder.
One evening, after making love with Nicole Marie Speirs, the
22-year-old mother of their twin children, he unaccountably drowned
her while they shared the bathtub together.
