You don't think in TWO CENTURIES that won't be possible, as the OP asked? 
Admittedly I've profferred some pretty "out there" ideas, but a battery 
capable of powering a car 300-400 miles and rechargeable in a 2-3 
minutes--by the 23rd century--seems quite plausible.
