Protecting star****ps traveling at 95% light speed or more

There's a lot of friction caused by interstellar particles and cosmic
dust. Will it destroy star****ps traveling at 95% light speed or more?
If yes, how can we prevent it? Nanorobotics and self-repair
mechanisms? Or a huge ice ****eld slowly melting away as suggested in
Arthur C. Clarke's "Songs from a Distant Earth"? Maybe slow
interstellar travel is the better option...
