Seems to me "Because Wotan wills it" is an excellent theory.
I mean, there's not a lot outstanding there. The big problem
is where to get Wotan, but this can be solved by having Wotan
will himself into being as well. After all, will is said to be free,
that is, unconditioned and uncontingent.
Although on this one I do go along with Nietzsche. I'm just
saying.
