Like the Simes (people with tentacles on their arms) of the Sime/Gen
series,
who live on selyn that they extract from Gens (people without
tentacles),
usually Killing the Gen. However, duel selyn system Simes known as
"channels" can extract selyn safely from Gens and transfer it into other
Simes. The Wraith need to develop their own version of channels, who
would safely extract life force from humans and transfer it to Wraith.
