YASID: two girls who exchange places and time periods

by Konrad Gaertner <kgaertner@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 14, 2008 at 03:37 PM

From another forum:
"Two young teen girl characters one named possibly "Ada" I'm not sure
about that but I think it at least starts with an "a". It should be in
the teen/children section. It is about two girls who exchange places
and time periods (around 2000 and around 1800) through a "magical" well
that they live near. At one point the girl from the past tries to buy
something with an old old nickel but can't because the vendor doesn't
recognize it as a real coin. The girl from the past is fascinated with
motion pictures. Eventually the two return to their original times,
and the girl from the past leave some stuff in her will for the family
and the girl that helped her in the future. (including some original
motion picture cartoon sketches?) I'm sorry if any of that is
inaccurate, but I read it in 3rd grade, so it has been a while."

I've already asked for clarification on the last point.
