This argument is crap.  Using your terms, it is not necessary to hit the 
same jackpot 250 times in a row.  It is necessary to hit each of the 250 
jackpots once.  How many failures there are in between doesn't matter. 
Formation of a complex structure similar to one of the precursors of 
life (but not one of them) does not instantly wipe out others that are 
already formed. Also, there is the distinct possibility of different 
precursor chemicals forming in parallel, rather than one being 
completely formed before another can begin.

On an entirely separate question, I take a dim view theologically of 
those who claim to prove the Bible is divine yet keeping for proof of 
that divinity, as if they need to prove it to themselves.  Such are very 
weak in faith. They also tend to come up with arguments which try the 
limits of speciousness. Like the one above.
