Nope. Its volumetric efficiency is poor, and when you include 
containers, it's weight efficiency is mediocre at best especially for 
long term storage. Gasoline and kerosene are hard to beat as practical 
fuels.

LH2 does do well for rockets, primarily because you don't store it long 
on the rocket, and its exhaust has low molecular weight, especially when 
burned rich (as most rockets tend to do). This raises the exhaust
velocity.

I still stand by my long standing prediction that when/if we solve the 
energy crisis someday, we'll use our vast, unlimited [insert solution 
here] to make a trans****tation fuel out of garbage and grass clippings, 
and it will be ... synthetic gasoline and/or kerosene.
