I loved "Win Ben Stein's Money" and his role as Ferris Bueller's
teacher, but I just cannot respect a man who thought that Nixon was a
good president deserving of sup****t.

Presumably it took him ten minutes to discover the accurate answer --
i.e. in a profession where 200+ people apply for every job whether
it's tenure track or not, and of those who DO achieve tenure track
jobs at least half fail to get tenure, the overall failure-to-achieve-
career rate is dwarfed only by "I want to be a singer/actor" and "I
want to be a novelist." But that wasn't a very marketable film
premise, so he told the punters what they wanted to hear.

And now avaunt, before some of the _mean_ regulars notice your
existence. I suggest going to a moderated forum with a Fundie
moderator; your arguments are neither good nor original and definitely
not able to survive in the wild.

Obligatory swerve back to on-topic: the John Varley character in
"Rolling Thunder" who rebuts the concept of Intelligent Design with
another two word phrase, "external testicles."
