In reading about Clarke ealier, I ran across a few mentions
of _The Last Theorem_ , a collaboration by Clarke and Pohl.
A little (very little) digging seems to indicate:
- Clarke was having trouble finishing it and enlisted Pohl to help;
- Clarke may have approved the final manuscript somewhat recently;
- publication may be in November 2008.
Does anyone know more about this (including how much is true and
how much is speculation)?
If true, has there ever been a two-author collaboration with
a higher combined age than 178?
