Indeed, there is an entire industry dedicated to renumbering the floor 
indicators in lifts/elevators for export (in either direction...).

And British police try to apprehend the people who burgled you house,
while 
American police only want to catch those who burglarized you.

Just make sure the articulated lorry goes to the left around the
roundabout, 
while the semi-tractor trailer goes right around the traffic circle. 
Otherwise the British driver will have to be taken to hospital and the 
American one hospitalized, after the inevitable accident.  If you would
like
