I wish.

It richly deserves a movie but afaik has never had one, though istr
hearing
a BBC _Radio_ version of it many moons ago.

The nearest approach to one is again from the BBC, a television series
called _Survivors_, dealing with a similar situation in 1970s Britain.
Regrettably, afaik the dvds are only available in Region 2 format. Parts
of
it, espeecially in the first series, are clearly derivative from EA.
