In the U.S., that translates as, "Realtors would specify 'end unit' in
descriptions of the last house in the row."

Here "ranch" can also be "rambler," and "bungalow" refers to a
specific _style_ of house rather than specifying a single floor.

Two stories of equal size is "colonial," even if it's a super-modern
design; if the upstairs is smaller than the downstairs, with the
pitched roof reducing floor space, it's a "Cape Cod."
