Obviously it's all your fault. You single-handedly destroyed all SF mags
by 
.... gasp ... having a life.

Seriously tho, how many "bite-sized" mags are there left? Even TV GUIDE
went 
full-sized a few years ago. Plus with the addition of the internet, anyone

can be published. Even getting paid is possible with sponsor****p and 
paypal-like donations.

And in between are online magazines with stories edited or selected by 
trusted hosts who find, gather and publish stories in one online location.

The fact that anyone can be published online creates another problem: 
filtering. You can't read it all so you have to draw the line
somewhere--or 
allow a trusted authority to do so for you. They read--and filter out--the

bad stories so you don't have to.
