A quick wiki-ing shows that that's a story set in the saga of the Skolian
Empire, chronologically right near the start. There's currently 11 books
out
in the series, which I've read (and another one due this year some time)
and,
it seems, and ten stories/novellas, which I haven't (but it looks like the
latest one is being made into the latest book).

Publication order's probably as good as any for the books - they do go
back and
over things that have already been covered in previous books, usually from
a different character's viewpoint, so that all eleven are covering the
same
span of time that maybe three would have done from another author -

Primary Inversion, Catch the Lightning, The Last Hawk, The Radiant Seas,
Ascendant Sun, The Quantum Rose, Spherical Harmonic, The Moon's Shadow,
Skyfall, Schism, The Final Key

She's also written a fantasy series set in a completely different
universe,
with shape-and-color magic deeply involved in it, ^The Charmed Sphere,
^The
Misted Cliffs, ^The Dawn Star, ^The Fire Opal.
