I've heard nothing about this novel, which came out last year, but now I'm
wondering why since it seems to me the people who liked Soon I Will Be
Invincible might like it also. In some ways, very much in the same mold,
with
characters based on Captain America, Wonder Woman, Superman and so forth.
This book, rather strangely, combines the superheros are real idea with
the
angsty teenage gay kid growing up idea. Just why is hard to figure, but in
any case the superhero theme takes precedence.
If costumed superheros and supervillians are your thing, you might give it
a
try.
