Gerrold re****tedly has sold the next two Chtorr books to Tor and is
working on them. I would not advise holding your breath, but they may
eventually appear.

Hodgell is a slow writer to begin with, and her publisher was the
now-late Meisha Merlin, which won't speed things up. I wouldn't be
surprised if she does return -- maybe even with another book in that
series -- but I wouldn't expect to see anything new from her for at
least two years.
