When the Border Patrol pulled our car over once, I gave them a hard time
much
to the disgust of everyone else in the car. We were all nordic-looking
types
except for my black Irish brother-in-law, yclept Sweeney, who was
doubtless
the reason we were pulled over. He said afterwards he should have gone
into a
"Si, Senor, I was born in San Franciso" routine, but sadly, he didn't. I
can't blame him, it never even occurred to be to try "Ya, sure, ve all
yust
come from Minn-e-sota" or I might have.
