Story ID Request: Last human on earth & robots

I believe this was a short story I read, but can't find the book it
was in or the author.

However, it was about a human who lives or works in an underground
complex, and all life on earth is destroyed. The last human is cared
for by robots, who slowly evolve thier own civilization. Since the
last human is the last one, they mostly spend time in cryogenic sleep.

I would like to locate it to read again, but google has not seemed to
produce any useable results.

Any help would be great!!
